Senior HCI Expert

Syncron is currently looking for a Senior HCI Expert for its expanding product portfolio. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces, interactions and information architectures for Syncron products and validating that those designs meet both business requirements and the principles of user-centered design.

Responsibilities:
- Adopt and disseminate user interface design standards and develop best practices.
- Maintain the UI standards, guideline repository and standard library of web components.
- Provide a governance framework for unifying web design across different Syncron products.
- Design the entire product experience: from user stories/business requirements to the information architecture, interaction design and visual details.
- Prototype experiences using wireframes.
- Act as an advisor for user interface designers and business analyst in regard to usability issues.
- Work in a collaborative environment with software engineers, project managers and business analysts throughout the complete product lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or computer science field.
- Demonstrated experience in designing web-based interfaces for enterprise application is a must.
- Self-driven with attention to details and strong visual design sense.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of web development including JavaScript,HTML, XHTML and CSS.
- Previous experience with JSF or other component-oriented web framework would be advantageous.
- Fluency in English is a must.
