Two International Top Recruitments at Syncron – Enhanced Focus on Global Expansion

Syncron, the Swedish supply chain management software
company, recently made two senior recruitments that will
further strengthen the company in its global expansion.

John Sookias, previous European head of supply chain management for the $3bn ERP software vendor Infor, was hired as sales director for Syncron UK. Andréas Nilson, previous European head of supply chain management for the $800 m ERP vendor Lawson, has been hired as Nordic sales director.

“What attracted me to Syncron was that their solutions can optimise complex supply chain management processes easily,” says Sookias. “Other vendors often have a significantly more unwieldy solution, so there are great opportunities for Syncron to grow in the UK and other countries. Last year’s 28% growth is impressive and now we are concentrating on continued international success.”

The Syncron approach encompasses projects where client companies are able to keep its legacy systems, thus protecting investments already made. The Syncron SOA based solution is instead easily integrated with the existing IT environment enabling substantial business values being realized in exceptionally short time frames.

“Global companies often invest millions of dollars over many years in coordinating their supply chains by replacing existing systems,” says Mr Nilson. “Global companies such as Sandvik, Scania, and Volvo CE, who use Syncron’s solutions, have found that this process does not need to be complex and time-consuming once they have chosen the right software vendor. I’m very pleased to join Syncron and become part of a new generation of supply chain management software vendors in the market.”

John Sookias and Andréas Nilson chose Syncron at a time when many companies are struggling with finding high calibre talents.

“I’m happy to announce that John and Andréas have chosen to work for Syncron,” says Anders Grudén, Syncron’s CEO. “Their extensive international experience will be a great asset to the company. They will both have decisive roles in the company’s global expansion on the supply chain management market.”

During the past 18 months, Syncron expanded its workforce by 68 percent, established a new office in Poland, and acquired its UK based partner. The two recent international recruitments are part of further expansion plans.
