Anders Grudén, CEO
Anders Grudén has served as Syncron’s CEO since 2004 and has overall responsibility for the company’s global strategy, organization, culture and operations. Under Mr. Gruden’s direction, the company has expanded globally to serve its growing list of market leading customers that rely on Syncron to maximize the performance of their aftermarket service operations.
Prior to Syncron, Mr. Grudén served in executive roles with Accenture Strategic Services where he assisted Chief Executives of large, multinational manufacturing companies take full advantage of their global market coverage. Mr. Grudén has also worked as a Managing Director for Investor AB, one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordics, investing in companies with innovative technologies. Mr. Grudén is a member of the Board of ABG Sundal Collier A/S, the leading investment bank in the Nordic region.
Anders Grudén holds two degrees: a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management and a B.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration.
Dag Sjöqvist, CFO
Dag Sjöqvist joined Syncron in 2008 as CFO and Head of Corporate Functions with global responsibility for Finance, Legal and Internal IT.
Mr. Sjöqvist leverages 15 years’ international experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, global operations and strategy.
Prior to Syncon Mr. Sjöqvist held the position as Group Vice President at the headquarters of ABB Group in Zurich, Swizterland where he managed global M&A transactions. Mr. Sjöqvist has also worked as a management consultant at the corporate finance practice of ABB Financial Services.
Mr. Sjöqvist holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from University of Uppsala and Stockholm University, School of Business and has also studied at IMD, Lausanne.
Johan Stakeberg, Head of Global Sales and MD Syncron Inc
Johan Stakeberg joined Syncron in 2012 as Head of Global Sales. Mr. Stakeberg also acts as the Managing Director for Syncron's North American operations. He leverages 18 years of international software sales management, sales and leadership experience.
Prior to Syncron Mr. Stakeberg held the position as Managing Director for Oracle in Sweden. Mr. Stakeberg has an extensive Sales Management background and has successfully led sales organizations in Europe as well as in the Asia-Pacific region, based out of Oracles Sydney office.
Mr. Stakeberg holds two degrees: a BA in Business Administration and Economics, Specialization Marketing from University of Gothenburg and University Certificate in Electronics and Computer Technology.
Gary Brooks, Chief Marketing Officer
Gary Brooks joined Syncron in 2015 as Chief Marketing Officer. With 20 years of marketing experience, Mr. Brooks is a revenue focused B2B marketing executive who believes in qualitative work with quantitative results to deliver breakthrough revenue performance.
Prior to Syncron, Mr. Brooks was CMO at Urjanet, where he focused on helping companies around the world improve their energy intelligence by making the world's energy data accessible and useful. Over the years, Mr. Brooks served in executive leadership roles at Ariba, Fortress Technologies, TRADEX (acquired by Ariba), KnowledgeStorm (acquired by TechTarget), Servigistics (acquired by Marlin Equity Partners), Bomgar Corporation (acquired by TA Associates) and Cortera.
Mr. Brooks holds two degrees: a BS from Northeastern University and a MS, Management from Lesley University.
Annika Thunberg, Employee Success
Annika Thunberg joined Syncron in 2016 as Head of Employee Success. Ms. Thunberg has more than 20 years of experience from various leadership roles in the professional services industry. In Syncron, Ms. Thunberg leads all activities directed at attracting talented people and making Syncron the best place to work.
Prior to joining Syncron, Ms. Thunberg co-founded Vaessa, an advisory firm in leadership and organizational development. Over the years, Ms. Thunberg has been Partner and Senior Executive at Accenture and Partner at Odgers Berndtson, a global executive search firm. In 2015, Ms. Thunberg published a management book focused on in-house leadership development.Ms. Thunberg is a member of the board at Sonat AB, an outsourcing and development partner in Supply Chain Management.
Ms. Thunberg holds a B.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Linköping University.
Tony Abouzolof, Head of Sales MEEE and Managing Director Syncron UK
Tony Abouzolof is one of the founders of the Syncron group. Mr. Abouzolof has more than 17 years experience in the development and implementation of global supply chain planning solutions. Over the years, he has enabled many leading organizations, such as BAE Systems, Supequinn and Electrolux, to formulate global supply chain strategies and to lead successful implementations of large scale supply chain solutions with a global scope.
Mr. Abouzolof is a regular presenter at many European conferences and he is well known for his leading views on various aspects of global supply chain management.
Mr. Abouzolof holds a M.Sc. from Cranfield Institute of Technology.
Richard Barkestam, CTO
Richard Barkestam joined Syncron in 2000 as a software architect. Mr. Barkestam has more than 15 years of experience from working with product development, software engineering and supply chain management processes.
Prior to joining Syncron, Mr. Barkestam worked as a consultant at Sema Group AB, where he designed and developed a framework for building Intranet and e-commerce sites. Mr. Barkestam has held various positions at Syncron including product manager and chief architect.
Mr. Barkestam holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Lund University.
Daniel Martinsson, Head of EazyStock
Daniel Martinsson re-joined Syncron in 2013 as Business Area Manager for Eazystock. Mr. Martinson has worked for Syncron in a variety of senior management positions including responsibility for the Professional Service organizations in Stockholm, Atlanta and Birmingham. Prior to joining Syncron, Mr. Martinsson worked as a Management Consultant at Connecta with responsibility for a variety of SCM customer projects. Mr. Martinsson has also spent three years at HSH Nordbank in Hamburg as a SAP application specialist and Project Manager.
Mr. Martinsson has deep and broad knowledge of the SCM area gained from managing a number of customer projects in many different industries. Mr. Martinsson holds a M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Lunds Institute of Technology as well as a 1-years-specialized diploma in Marketing from the American International College in Washington D.C.
Katsuto Ochiai, Managing Director of Syncron Japan
Katsuto Ochiai joined Syncron in 2013 as Sales Manager and assumed the role as Managing Director of Syncron Japan in 2014. Mr. Ochiai has more than 20 years of experiences in international B2B sales of software solutions focusing on both enterprise-wide and SMB discrete manufacturing operations.
Mr. Ochiai has started his career as mechanical designer at auto parts supplier, Denso. After that, he worked with many global projects at PLM venders, such as PTC and Dassault Systèmes.
Mr. Ochiai holds a B.Sc. in Machine Technology from Waseda University, Tokyo.
Tomasz Urbański, Head of Development and Managing Director Syncron Poland
Tomasz Urbański joined Syncron in 2006 and has been instrumental in the establishment and growth of the operations in Poland, having managed to recruit an impressive team of talented and internationally recognized software developers.
Prior to joining Syncron Tomasz Urbański was involved in the development of a successful start-up in the field of web analytics, online advertising and real-time massive data processing. In addition to his high technical expertise, Tomasz Urbański has extensive experience in new product development and interdisciplinary team management with a special focus on innovation.
Tomasz Urbański holds two degrees: a M. Sc. in Mathematics (summa cum laude) and M. Sc. in Computer Science, both from Warsaw University. His master's thesis was recognized as the best student paper in Europe by European Association of Theoretical Computer Science.
Henrik Lenerius, Customer Success Americas & East Asia
Henrik Lenerius joined Syncron in 2012 as a Manager in the Expert Services organization and has since established and grown Syncron’s American services operations.
Mr. Lenerius started his career at Accenture in their Supply Chain practice with a focus on inventory management and distribution planning in global networks. He has also worked for Elanders, a global supplier to the heavy equipment and automotive industries with focus on systems implementation and 3PL solutions for aftermarket services.
Mr. Lenerius holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University.
Carl Bentzel, Customer Success EMEIA
Carl Bentzel joined Syncron in 2008 as a Consultant in the Expert Services organization. Since joining he has held numerous senior positions within Expert Services in Europe and Japan with a product focus towards Inventory Management.
Prior to joining Syncron Mr. Bentzel worked as a Management Consultant at Network Logistics, focusing on Supply Chain Management for Nordic retail companies.
Mr. Bentzel holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University.
Erik Lindholm, Pre-Sales
Erik Lindholm joined Syncron in 2001 as a software developer. Since then Mr. Lindholm has worked for Syncron in a variety of senior management positions including Product Manager, Head of Product Management as well as Senior Program Manager.
Mr. Lindholm has more than 15 years of experience from working with supply chain management processes, product development and customer implementation projects. Prior to joining Syncron, Mr. Lindholm worked at ABB in various positions, including trainee at ABB Sweden as well as logistics manager for ABB Distribution.
Mr. Lindholm holds a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology.
