Welcome to Syncron Employee Snapshots, a new series that captures the essence of a few of those valued employees’ lives, both inside and outside of their daily life at Syncron. Let’s kick off the series with a quick snapshot into the lives of Prem Mroczek, Charlotte Sallmén and Anirudh Raman, just a few of the stellar members of the Syncron family!

Prem Mroczek

Senior Legal Specialist, Warsaw. Originally from Warsaw, Prem has been with Syncron for almost 4 years.

What does your typical day at Syncron look like?

Each day brings new challenges and tasks. I focus on customer-related matters like drafting and reviewing contracts, participating in contract negotiations and assessing legal risks. I also provide internal legal support in various areas of law, especially intellectual property, data privacy & security and corporate law.

What are your goals for your future with Syncron?

I want to continue my mission to foster the business growth of Syncron while keeping it safe from legal risks. My goal is to leverage Syncron’s potential and business opportunities that we face and turn them to my own professional development including the IPO readiness project, development of contracting model for Syncron Uptime™ and new customer transactions.

Before working at Syncron, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?

An unusual job comparing to my current profession was working at Finnair’s as a sales representative. I also had an interesting experience completing an internship at the Polish Consulate in Chicago.

What is a fun fact you can share with us?

During my studies, I spent time abroad taking part in three foreign exchange programs in Spain, the U.S. and India. I also love cycling, hiking and listening to true crime podcasts during my DIY and gardening activities.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

My family.

Charlotte Sallmén

Portfolio Manager, Stockholm. Originally from Gislaved, Sweden, Charlotte has been with Syncron for 8 years.

What does your typical day at Syncron look like?

I work on resource allocation for Expert Services projects to find the right resource for the right projects to ensure our customers are happy and that the consultants are developing and getting challenged. I also work on business development tasks, including project scope definition and budget estimation, as well as customer workshops by holding design workshops and super user training for various Syncron InventoryTM customers.

What are your goals for your future with Syncron?

I would like to grow to be one of the future leaders of Syncron.

Before working at Syncron, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?

I worked as a gravedigger one summer. It was probably the weirdest job I ever had but I got a nice tan out of it.

Where is your favorite travel spot and why?

I like to explore new places so I would rather not go back to the same spots I’ve been before. Chicago is an exception to that since it has a special place in my heart. I have already been back twice and will go back again for sure.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

It’s hard to say what my greatest accomplishment is but it would probably be my move to the U.S. for three years. I managed to build a career and social life in a country I’m not accustomed to. It is by far the most challenging thing I have done in my career, but I learned so much.

Anirudh Raman

Software Developer – Syncron Price™, Bangalore. Originally from Mangaluru, India, Anirudh has been with Syncron for one year and eight months.

What does your typical day at Syncron look like?

A typical day’s work for me involves scouring Jira for tasks while reading, writing, rewriting and reviewing code. I also have discussions with my manager on how to further debug our products, and we get lost in BPP, String, and Hibernate code.

What are your goals for your future with Syncron?

To experience all facets of software development and to become an expert in something.

Before working at Syncron, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?

I worked as a research assistant on a secret defense project with a professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.

What is your favorite meal?

Dosa is my favorite meal. It is beautiful and delicious yet so pristine, simple and crispy! Dosa is the perfection of South Indian culture.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment is surviving four years in college and beating 466655 out of 468240 students in a national entrance examination to secure a place for myself there.
