Former Servigistics Director to Accelerate Syncron’s Growth and Market Leadership


TOKYO, 17 March 2020 – SyncronTM, a provider of cloud-based after-sales service solutions focused on empowering the world’s leading manufacturers to maximize product uptime and deliver exceptional customer experiences, today announced that Ryu Shinagawa has been named Syncron’s Managing Director, Japan. Mr. Shinagawa will enable manufacturers in the region to optimize their after-sales service organizations today to prepare for the inevitable shift to delivering Product-as-a-Service (PaaS).

In his new role at Syncron, Mr. Shinagawa will not only be responsible for developing and managing new customer relationships, but also expanding further relationships with Syncron’s fast-growing list of Japanese customers, including Brother, Hitachi, JUKI, Kawasaki, Kubota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Sumitomo, and Toyota, among many more.

Prior to Syncron, Shinagawa spent six years at Rakuten, the largest eMarketetplace service provider in Japan. In addition to two division head positions during his tenure, he led the launch of multiple new businesses and, most recently, was General Manager, Delivery Business. Shinagawa’s other past experience includes Global Account Director at SAP Japan and Solution Director at Servigistics Asia.
