Syncron is excited to announce the successful launch of the new SyncUp Summit series with inaugural events held in Atlanta and Frankfurt. This marks an exciting new chapter, bringing together customers from Syncron Price, Parts Planning, and Dealer Parts Planning solutions to share experiences, compare approaches, and leave with fresh ideas. More than 30 companies attended across the two summits, including global leaders such as Caterpillar, Nissan, Daimler Truck, Rolls-Royce, Volvo, and Siemens. The diverse representation highlighted the strength of the Syncron customer community, spanning multiple industries and geographies.
While the two events shared an agenda and a purpose, each had its own distinct character, with the North American event taking place at the Omni hotel in the bustling heart of downtown Atlanta and the European summit being held at Schloss Waldthausen, a stunning castle nestled deep in the Lenneberg Forest, just a few miles from Frankfurt.
Across both events, the agenda opened with a keynote from Ducker Carlisle on the future of the aftermarket, followed by presentations on Syncron's product strategy, roadmap, and customer journey. The rest of the agenda was packed with panel discussions, roundtables, live demos, and product breakouts, giving customers a chance to ask questions, share their experiences, and have their say on Syncron's priorities for the year ahead.
"Connecting top customers, partners, and our experts is when the magic happens," said Josh Weiss, CEO of Syncron. "Seeing the results our customers have achieved — and hearing directly from them about what's working and what comes next — reinforces why building this kind of community matters."
Neither event was short on fun either — Atlanta kicked things off with an evening mixer on a private terrace overlooking Centennial Olympic Park, where perfect weather, skyline views, and even a passing parade set the tone for the days ahead, while the grandeur of the surroundings in Germany gave way to an evening of bowling, table tennis, and karaoke.
Both events included the Syncron SyncUp Awards, extended for the first time to cover the full Syncron portfolio across all regions, with three hotly-contested categories in each region: Price Impact, Inventory Impact, and Aftermarket Excellence.
Vermeer won the Price Impact Award, narrowly taking the title from finalists AGCO, Dana, and Hyster-Yale Group. Their sophisticated use of simulation and scenario modeling to drive pricing decisions and the organizational discipline to act on them made a compelling case.
Ford took the Inventory Impact Award with a global parts planning transformation built on advanced forecasting and automated replenishment, supporting thousands of dealer locations across multiple markets, edging ahead of a strong field that included Harley Davidson, Nissan, and NFI.
Daimler Truck North America won the Aftermarket Excellence Award, recognizing the disciplined way they've connected RIM and pricing into a single operating model, with honorable mentions for Kubota, MHIRJ, and Xylem.
Daimler Truck won the Price Impact category in the EMEA awards. Their ability to turn analytical models into tangible pricing outcomes, and their drive to keep pushing the platform further, set them apart from fellow finalists Konecranes, Metso, and Terex.
Mazda Motor Europe beat off stiff competition from BAE Systems, CLAAS, and Domingo Alonso to take the Inventory Impact Award, with a case built on consistent improvement across a complex multi-country network and a partnership with Syncron that goes back to 1993.
With more than two decades of partnership, and a level of execution across pricing, inventory, and RIM that few organizations can match, Volvo Group won the Aftermarket Excellence Award, with Al-Futtaim, Electrolux Professional, and Komatsu Forest completing the field.
Josh concluded: “The Syncron SyncUp Awards are about more than individual achievement. They recognize the customers who are helping shape the future of the aftermarket through innovation, leadership, and measurable impact. SyncUp and the Syncron SyncUp Awards will be back even bigger and better in 2027, and I couldn't be more excited.
“Congratulations to every finalist and winner, and thank you to everyone who made the trip.”
