Chief Financial Officer
Risa Sparks is a finance and operations leader with nearly 25 years’ experience across technology, energy, and manufacturing. She brings deep expertise in business operations, investment strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and scaling enterprise SaaS companies across the globe.
Prior to joining Syncron, she served as CFO at ETQ, a Hexagon company specializing in enterprise quality and compliance software. Previously, she held senior finance roles at Everbridge and edX, leading strategic initiatives and overseeing global finance operations. Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade at Chevron in various international finance and treasury roles and began her career at Intel as an engineer.
Risa holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Outside of work, Risa enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time with her family.
